I accomplished a new goal of mine: I ran 4 miles without stopping!
I conquered steep up hill terrain, passed huge semi-trucks, shirtless men, fit women, beautiful buildings and homes, embraced the heat, sweat like crazy, and had enough energy to jog up my long steep driveway.
I can do anything! I am becoming a much better runner and I feel fantastic!

YOU CAN DO IT!
The very first day I started working out I ran a 2.6 mile route that is curvy and hilly. I pretty much died the entire way and walked more than anything.
Ever since then I have been intimidated by that route and have chosen other paths.
On Saturday I was feeling great and decided I wanted to conquer that path again.
It was hard but I ran the whole entire route without stopping in 35 minutes!
I feel so proud of myself! I am becoming the healthy girl that I have wanted to be for so long but never did anything about it. I feel great! I think I want to do a 5k soon :)
I can tell that I am getting healthier and my endurance is improving and I feel great.
I really didn’t want to run beforehand but I went and reached a milestone.
I felt unstoppable yesterday. Let’s see what today’s run brings.
I ran yesterady the best I’ve run in a probably…forever. I can’t remember the last time I ran a mile without stopping.
Maybe it was the music I was listening to or just pure determination but I ran a mile in 11:50!
It may seem like a lot to avid runners but it is a big accomplishment for me. I can’t believe I didn’t take a break the entire time. Of course, afterward I walked a little bit and my body wasn’t quite sure what I was doing to it and I felt like throwing up. I probably walked a little over a half mile and then ran the rest of the way home.
It was a beautiful day on a country road.
I’m so proud of myself!
